By the way…I like the new Amazing Grace theme with the tabs. Only thing I’m hoping to see is pictures of YAWP and it’s owner, preppin’ for the cross country goodness!

Hi,
Just found your blog looking for info about travelling with a Big Dummy… I’ll be checking up to see how you are doing with your build and tour…
Looked at your travelroute and was wondering how you are gonna get the Dummy back, since it is a one way route?? Do you have any info about flying with a BD??
I am looking into building one up as a trekkingbike and intent to leave Europe at some point…
Thanks,
Gerco

Hi Gerco! I currently do not know how I will be getting the BD home. I suspect it will involve shipping it as cargo. I have no idea how much this will cost, but I will update as I find out. I will also probably be throwing it on buses and trains along the way.
Thanks for the comment!

Hello Francesca,
I’m happy to hear that you are okay and that your trip is progressing slowly but surely. Just please be careful. I pray that you reach California before Thanksgiving. If need be, get on a bus so that you will be able to sit down with Family and Friends for this very important Family Holiday. We miss you here at Folio and I just love working with Tia. She is a smart LADY AND VERY NICE. GOOD CHOICE in recognizing talent. Once your journey is over, please come home and stop by to have some wine and conversation.
GodSpeed,
Your Friend from Folio

Francesca,
If you are back in the DC area for a while before India, I’d love to buy you a beer and be regaled with your stories from the road. You are an inspiration and I’d love to hear how your ride through Texas was, being my home state.
Merry Christmas,Happy New Year, and safe travels,
